On November 15, students at UWC Atlantic College put on a musical performance entitled ‘From Bach to Blues’, as part of an ongoing series of concerts at St Donats Art Centre.

Local residents were treated to an array of musical talents and styles, from the classical singing of Schubert’s Serenade to modern guitar solos and violin duets.

Sharon Richards, piano teacher and host of the event, says, “The programme is always varied and it is a wonderful chance for the students at the college to have a performance platform – and for the audience to be entertained by students from all over the world – often playing or singing music from their homeland.”

Café Concerts are scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month at 3pm and last around one hour. The cost is £6.50 per person, including tea, coffee and homemade cake.
