Cafe passes standards inspection

A CHILD friendly Swansea café and bistro has scored five Scores on the Doors in a recent Food Standards Agency inspection.

The Kindercaf√© and KC’s Bistro has been operating its venue in Nelson Street for the past 10 months.

Kindercaf√© and KC’s Bistro owner Alyson Pugh said: “This was our first proper inspection and we were delighted to achieve five scores on our doors.

“Our food preparation area is open plan so customers can see for themselves the standards of our food preparation, but it’s still fantastic to have the endorsement of the Food Standards Agency.”

Scores on the Doors is a food hygiene rating scheme used by the Food Standards Agency to assess how hygienic and well-managed the food preparation standards are at eateries.

The food hygiene rating or inspection result given to a business reflects the standards of food hygiene found on the date of inspection or visit by the local authority.

Five scores on the doors is the highest rating that can be achieved.
