Year-11 pupils from St Clare’s Porthcawl spent an enjoyable afternoon decorating their special tree right in front of the pulpit at All Saints’ Church, Porthcawl.

The Christmas Tree Festival is organised by The Rotary Club of Porthcawl and the St Clare’s pupils belong to Interact Club, the school’s branch of Rotary.

Pupils meet once a forthnight to support a local and international charity each year. Their chosen charity this year is Wales Air Ambulance.

Nicola Evans, a teacher at St Clare’s said: “We are really proud of our Interact pupils. They develop very useful life skills in being active members of the local community.”
