JCP Solicitors, based in the old Pavilion on Eastgate, has welcomed a new director to its property team to work alongside Richard Beech.

Talia Atkins has joined the firm with more than a decade of experience advising on all aspects of commercial property, with a particular emphasis on the retail and leisure sectors.

Talia, who joined the business from Berry Smith, where she was a senior associate, is well-versed in complex, multi-disciplinary, high-value property transactions, covering matters such as site acquisition, conditional sale and purchase contracts and forward funding agreements.

JCP director and head of commercial property in south east Wales, Richard Beech, said: “I am delighted to welcome Talia to the JCP fold as director in our south east commercial property team. Talia is well-respected among her colleagues and by property professionals.

“I am looking forward to the new opportunities she will bring to the area of Cowbridge. Her landlord and tenant experience is extensive – not least for landlords letting to large retail and leisure operators.”

JCP Solicitors has nine offices across Wales. They merged with Cowbridge-based Glamorgan Law in April 2017. The south east Wales commercial property team now includes three directors; Richard Beech, Llio Preece and Talia Atkins.
