Braddon, 26, from Caerphilly, south Wales, pleaded guilty to murdering Conner at Trecco Bay caravan park in Porthcawl.

He was remanded in custody following a hearing at Cardiff Crown Court and will be sentenced next month.

Conner and two friends had gone to a number of pubs in the Porthcawl area before they returned to the park at 1am on March 8.

He was found the seven hours later with severe injuries and died six days later at University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.

A family tribute at the time spoke of the family’s pride in Conner for deciding to donating his organs, reflecting his belief that ‘life goes on’.

They added:  ‘As a family we take great comfort knowing that Conner was a unique, caring and compassionate young man with a warm, infectious smile complete with a cheeky wink.
