Porthcawl Museum offered a family friendly Hallowe’en at the museum with ghostly tales, catch the apple, the haunted cell, hunt the spider and best costume competitions.

The event was well attended and Porthcawl Mayor, Coun Rob Lee (the Phantom of the Opera) and his wife Ann judged the costume competition.

First place went to Jessika Saunders from Swansea and the runner-up was Thomas (Darth Vader) from Porthcawl.

The volunteers and committee of the museum would like to thank all those who came to the event and supported the museum. The next event is the Christmas coffee morning on November 25 at the Y Centre from 10.30am.
