With Lord Sugar’s annual search for his next protégé underway, Heronsbridge School has said ‘you’re hired’ to six new apprentices of its own.

Supported by Bridgend Council Borough Council’s learning and development team, the six candidates have gained placements at the school for 18 to 21 months.

The apprentices will gain on-the-job experience and earn a salary while studying towards qualifications.

Deputy head at the school, Lisa James-Smith said: “Heronsbridge School has always invested in staff training and development, believing it to be the best way to raise standards in attainment and well-being for its pupils.”
